This depends on the artwork and how much customization is involved. When we go through the brief and consultation process, I try to be as thorough as possible so I can understand the tone of your book. As a general rule, I recommend the design process start (when I start drafting concepts) between 4-6 months prior to your book launch so we can meet your cover reveal & ARC release dates.
